Hey there—welcome to Blogging with Brian!
Starting this blog has been a huge learning experience—and the venture is far from over. When I first had the idea to launch a blog earlier this year (2025), I figured it would be a easy. Just build a website, write a few articles, hit publish, and boom—I’m a blogger!
Turns out… not quite.
Traveling? That part comes effortlessly. Writing? I’ve enjoyed putting my stories and tips into words more than I expected. But the real challenge? Technology. Yep, all those behind-the-scenes pieces that make a website tick.
It’s funny—these days we just type something into a search bar and expect instant answers. But behind every click is a whole world of tools, code, and platforms making it happen. I actually built a website 10–15 years ago and thought, “I’ve got this.” But wow—things have really changed.
Now I’m diving into the deep end with things like SEO, meta descriptions, OpenAI, Google Analytics—and trying to make sense of tools with names like WooCommerce, Yoast, and MonsterInsights. It’s been a wild ride, but I’m learning more every day.
So far, I’ve launched the website, set up social media accounts, and even joined a few affiliate programs. It’s a work in progress, but I’m proud of how far it’s come.
